Morning Reflections

The stillness of the morning is complete The very tips of Aspens make no tremble As though all nature holds its breath, replete With harmony, no conflict to dissemble Was it thus on that very first day dawn? When all new lives had yet to interact But in acceptance of each other form Unspoken: the agreement, sacred pact Communication then of gentler kind The rays of light informed and made reflection Til games of robust force beguiled the mind To taint harmonic day-break with contention But, thirst for conflict quenched, we’ll time to time Drink in the morning stillness, peace sublime
