Morning Glory
A stroll along winding roads
Avenues and slopes
Bring to light the muted shades
Of gentle sunshine glow.
Trees a-gleam in silvery light
Their delicate leaves doth show
hues of green and pallid gold
mirror a glittering glow.
An array of flowers colorful and bright
Yellow and red a breathtaking sight
Blue bells and daffodils spread
intricate patterns along mountain sides.
Amid the shades of green and red
Birds hop and dance with dainty steps
skipping along a lush green rug
as shiny feathers they do preen
To view such beauty so rich, so rare
Is to embrace mother nature’s love
that transports one on fantasy flights
and to tastes of sheer delight.
