Morning Dew

I wake up and arise The quiet dawn opens up another page of our destiny Like a flower unfolding its soft petals to look for the sun’s ray I ponder, I muse with gratitude A fresh chance of making today better than yesterday My life I lay in sacrifice for my family, friends and greater humanity And like the morning dew that gently falls on the rose buds hope God’s mercy falls upon my soul and makes it to shine forth Bringing to others love, joy, peace and forgiveness As I bow down my head in humble submission I set out into the world to complete my mission
