Morning
When all the world came to conscienceness
You lay on your back
As the light came through the blinds
And a bird with broken wing spun round
Outside on the brown scorched lawn
The nights seem wrapped in fog
When day becomes the sun
And memory slips out of mind
To find its own repose
And never again awake
