More Than One Way
More Than One Way

More than one way to kill
You say you have never killed
But every time you throw your
Fiery darts of emotional and yes
Verbal insults you do
You shoot me with your words
And yes and deeds too
If only you could see the damage
You have done to me
My heart is broken as if it were broke
In two with pain, piercing through
I love you this is true, but there’s
Only so much a heart can take
My tears they flood my soul
As you throw your insults and
Think they are justified
My pain I can no longer hide
My heart is flooded with emotions
I’m drowning someone save me
In my heart, I long to be free
From all the pain and misery
Without God, I would cease to be.
