tw'orkney tales bin spun s' far five thousand turns apart Of how the un dead squander beats of ever pumping heart T' both were meant t' waken they sa wont t ' want for more The first was close t' bird plucked bones collected saved revered In tombs t' last forever with whom they'd join in after life wi' talons bones and feather The second sits in hunt and peck sheltered warm from weather an' yet the quest is painted taut to follow reason far So toast and spill a token drop on fast eroding earth T' them that ask through endless turns just who in 'ell we are
