Moonlit
Backwards through the waterfalls
and into melting candle wax.
All the plants withdrawn in bubbles
With ribbon mustached men
The old man reads aloud his scroll
His beard dangling in the boat
But the small knome sails away
His oar pushing through white whiskers
A crescent moon behind the columns
Reflects rainbow orbs within the night
Encircling the chandolier
That sways amidst the clouds
The mountains in the distance
Way beyond the waters edge
The turtles, far beyond the falls
have made it to the steps
One by one in single file
Past the watching owls eyes
They slip through mushroom covered grounds
And leave their broken shells behind
