Moon
I am waiting for my universe,
and I, to be your moon,
orbiting you to bring light
to your darkness,
peace to your war,
and love to your loss.
It is hope against hope
that my rains bring growth,
a joy to life,
like the sun shining down to dry
the river of the tears I
have shed for not knowing you.
It is with faith
I kneel and pray
that maybe one day
Goddess will answer...
and the silence will end.
Until then
patience
is all I have left…
something I know
I need to learn.
My love and loyalty
lie hand in hand,
as you and I will someday do.
