Monsters lurk within the depths of my soul feeding upon my primitive urges. And feigning normalcy, veiled in shadows, they're invisible, thus invincible. They exist in-between sane and insane able to influence reality. And despite my defenses, wander free, causing turmoil and havoc in my life. Fear's an accomplice and effective shield, ensuring their motives are well concealed. And probing where there's the least resistance, they affect who I am and how I feel. They can corrupt my soul with hate and greed, gnawing away at my concepts of fair. And oft twist reality out of shape, until whatever feels good now feels right. But when I confront them, they flee inside, where they get temporarily restrained. For I can't destroy my inner demons, my only course is to lock them away. (Blank Verse) 9/21/2015

UHHHH! Excellent! ACTUAL Blank Verse with correct syllable count, wonderful images & plot. Here is the nightmare within and waging war against the monsters we hold at bay (or try). This is a 7 (and I don't hand those out easily or it wouldn't mean anything). Superb.

You are in no one's debt for sharing your gift! If anything, we are in your debt for the Sharing. We are all richer people whenever art is made available. . . As it MUST be.

Oh how true this is Emile and Poe was absolutely right...Interesting that the only monster you mention by name is 'Fear' which really hits the mark because in my opinion, EVERY inner monster and all evil that results comes from that single one...GREAT write and congratulations - Tim
