Battle of the Sexes: Over the best of three sets tennis history was made! Acrostic Drugs: Fall for oceanic allure, not cocaine. Affection: By the bubbling brook bees bond with buttercups. Disillusion: My dreams are like soap bubbles – they keep popping. Spoilsport: He quashed all their ideas, but finally spared a thought! ------------------------- Contest: 5 One Liners Sponsor: Bev Smith

Cool monoku string. My favorites are Affection and Disillusion. The former for it's cutesy image and alliteration, the latter for it's humor at your own misfortune. I've read some of the entries to this contest, a little bit ago, but I never understood the "battle of the sexes" lines ... might have to explain! Lol...

I had forgotten about this contest! The Battle of the Sexes monoku was a must write, included in the rules. Mine deals with a challenge between a male and female tennis players, won by the female...thus it made history (poetically it has little value!). // paul

Dear Paul This is funny Paul like the whole picture you've written in images my friend lol got the irony in both sets, but these blend so well together awesome pic also for these verses, like the likes about the soap bubbles popping, simply humorous, and thanks for your descriptive comment on my blue ridge poem, I like to do a little bit of home style for the holidays, cheri
