"monkey Shines"

I suppose monkey shines in rhymes will do, But you(!) monkey may out shine at the zoo! Peanuts and popcorn, Primates will not scorn. Beware the phew monkeys may throw at you! Monkey shines in rhymes always the best kind, But fall not into the pit of the lion. The bite, growl and roar, Won’t leave a small sore. Could be the last line rhyme of monkey shine! For contest: Tales From the zoo In honor of: Barbara Gorelick

How funny, John! The monkeys were the big winners in the Zany Zoo limerick contest a while back and I think you'll do well in Barbara's contest. By the way it was Barbara G. who wrote the poem about Larry's mother-in-law. I'm sure she consulted with him first. We've all had some great laughs reading Larry's poems about his mother-in-law. He could publish them in a book -- there are so many! LOL Good luck in Barbara's contest with this creative piece, John. Love, Carolyn
