Money
Money can make you happy,
money can make you sad,
Money can make you joyful,
and money can make you mad,
Money can buy you fun,
or jet you to the sun
but money supports terrorists, through the sale of drugs and guns.
Money can make you flex,
and money can buy you sex
giving away your money to fund charitable projects,
Money to perform on stages
Money to pay your wages,
Money to print poems onto printed pages.
Money for your spouses
and Money for your houses
money for you to buy pretty floral blouses,
Money that goes on tax
That’s money you don’t get back and
money lost or won from horses racing on a track,
Money for political causes,
Money for economical causes,
but the more money you have, the bigger the problem it causes,
Money for the rich that stays with the rich and
Money sought from investors delivered through a pitch,
Money can make a bailiff knock at your door,
while money seems forgotten, amongst the homeless and the poor.
Money speak volumes but doesn’t make a sound,
and money can be found Anywhere
it’s in every street, every town,
because money is needed to make the world go round.
