Mommie

I never thought about if she missed me But now she is gone I miss her every day Too late I learned the lesson enjoy each moment as it comes because the next may be your last one and once it is gone you cannot get it back

Jerry, it’s so true to say we should enjoy every moment of each day, one never knows what’s waiting to happen. I miss my mom too. Pal Belle

I think the saying is true, that you don't know what you've got til it's gone.

a powerful reminder for us to enjoy the people we love in each moment and in each day. I learned that lesson too late as well, especially when I think about my dad. Sigh. Enjoyed your poem, Jerry. Have a splendid evening, Sara
