Moments
Moments like these,
Time seems to freeze.
Can I just stand?
Stand tall and still,
Watch as the world goes by?
Time in my hand,
Feet on firm land,
Please can I keep?
Keep you so close,
Take a risk on one more try?
If I could breathe,
With my heart on my sleeve,
Just take a breath,
Nothing else left,
Just you and me, forever free,
Take time to be,
In moments like these,
Time tends to freeze,
You'll be the breeze,
Breeze on my skin,
Cool breath on sweat,
You'll be my kin,
Love too well met.
Take time to freeze,
In moments, our moments,
But take time to leave,
When moments are gone.
