Momentary Moon
It passes so
quickly
but the light illuminates
the night
for a moment
The moon is full
tonight
let the few moments
we have
before the hourglass
runs out
become worthy of our striving
as we continue our journey
Before we can
lay down our burden
we must grasp
the moonbeam
in our hands
and before nightfall
We'll take flight!
We'll leave this orb!
Dance on the moon as it circles our
own blue Earth
