Mom
A mom is someone who feeds and shelters
A mighty nice lady, a kind-hearted feller
She's the Jill of all trades,
Even a storyteller
A mom is a protector and a lover,
A tucker-inner and a hugger.
She's the warmth that is hot chocolate
And a cozy fire and a Snuggie
When it is cold and dark
But MY mom is all of those things and so much more;
For she is my maid and my bank, my personal chef and even my chauffeur.
There are seven billion people and I am so damn happy
That God blessed me with YOU.
Thank you so much for being the greatest Mom in the world.
I promise when you grow old I will be your butler
And your bank and your chef and your chauffeur.
