Used to live in St. Ann and owned a lot near Piedmont, MO. That was years ago. Poet named Terry Johnson on PoetrySoup is from SE Missouri. Check out his poems. I just finished my 940th poem and am striving for 1,000. Once you start writing poems you can't stop. Also, April is poetry month. Jim Horn

I was wondering when you'd post again, Mark :) I love the imagery, and the rhyme is just a cherry on top!

Oh, well, darlin', I'm waitin' for you. ;) When are YOU going to write more? You know I love your work. And thanks for loving this little Haiku of mine, it's really nothing special though. People just throw love and sevens around here like they're going out of style.

I hail from Iowa, by the way, my stepdad was from Keokuk, what a drive that was to see his mom every month!

Missouri is a mighty fine place, Shadi. Love it, here. I was born in Dallas, but I've been living out here in the sticks for seven years and I can't imagine living anywhere else!
