Missing Something
"Missing Something"
It may seem That I've got it all together
A heart of stone, nothing's gonns break my stride
But if you look a little closer
You'll see I'm crying out inside
I've got a good life and I can't complain
I've been a lot of places, I've seen some things
But something is missing, I can't explain
I just keep it here deep down inside
Yeah I got a nice car and a pretty house
But I'm the only one here, what's that about
And I got money, I can do whatever I want
But's what the sense, there's no friends, I'd rather go without
People say that you can't buy love
I believe this to be true
Because no matter how much money I have
It'll never bring me truth
I am in solitude, have been for years
I isolate myself so you won't see my tears
Showing my pride while I hide my fears
I've been suffering for so many years
So the next time you see me
Give me a great big hug
Because even if I don't show it
I need some love most of all
