Miss Tellall
Mrs. Tellall
Come on in I got something to tell.
I didn’t know you were going through your own hell.
I saw so-in-so.
She was running, on the go.
She didn’t stop to turn around.
But her face had a hard frown.
She didn’t miss a beat,
Getting across that street.
Her Mr. came running behind
Hitting the air like he was blind.
He finally caught her
Throwing her to the dirt.
Lordy, lordy someone will get hurt.
I saw Nelly too the other day.
She saw me and went the other way.
You even passed by me,
Like you didn’t see.
You looked nice in your new car.
I know we’re going on trips a far.
Did Mr. get a raise and buy it for you.
This Ms. Tellall didn’t have a clue.
Come on set a spell
I got much, more to tell
Anthony was drunk and fell
Near that old well.
Tisha was fired from her job
And Dale went to the store to rob,
Got caught and went to jail
Katrina got caught lying through the mail.
Shoola and Ben had another child.
Ms. Tellall didn’t know her own was wild.
Reverend Sinless
Is in a lot of mess.
He’s leading the sheep
But makes his wife weep.
Are you alright
From your illness the other night?
Ms. Tellall was digging deep
She didn’t know her husband didn’t sleep.
Ms. Tellall knew all the details.
She shared them while opening her mail.
Every addiction, every affliction.
What she didn’t know she invented fiction.
