Mirror

I tempted myself This time before I tempted myself To cross over to that other shore Mirrors on the waters Telling stories with their rays Mirrors of the shadows Counting lonly days I take one step And sink just a little I take another step With my mirror in the middle Inch by inch I step Each sinking slightly more But I know if I keep going I will reach that other shore And on the other side My reflection in the sand A contradiction of my sights My reflection takes my hand We walk away, in sweet harmony I have reached the other side My reflection and me
