Miracle Gift

Easily we forget the life he forged for us all Divine intervention, giving his son long ago, My life has been blessed, though I never saw. True believing is just feeling that it is so. Many seen with their own eyes though doubted. Where were their hearts and minds, oh so blind? Their eyes watched, as his passion was touted. He suffered greatly for the sins of humankind. I, like others have desires; he gave all I need. Desires are a human frailty, upon this earth. Beyond this time that we all spend to feed, Loving thy Lord and others brings rebirth. So, the miracle in my life is all that he gave. His words, to so many, written in a tome, My heart, spirit, and soul he died to save. This revelation, I keep wherever I roam. His suffering was greater then any of mine. The miracle of love, I give to everyone I see. Divinity; will be when he gives the sign. Others and I shall have their souls set free.

His suffering is all the more poignant because it was all in vain, and we are all still sinners in the Church's eyes? Well written Cecil. Gordon Hickman, (hicky)

A very insightful perspective on how we fail to appreciate the greatest sacrifice ever made, Cecil. Congratulations on your success in Catie's contest. Love, Carolyn
