great piece sara i really like the way you have portrayed the fallability of human senses that can happen, and you have made a poem from that! so we find the bleached leaf has had a use indeed.

Things are not always what they seem to be. My eyesight's not as good as it once was, Sara, and I probably would have thought it was a rosebud as well. Enjoyed the humor in your poem! Love, Carolyn

This is just so wonderful, you captured a moment, well done, just beautiful and regarding your comment about the death of my Peanut cat, thanks so much, it was hard yesterday, I will tell you that and like you said of your dog telling you, she told me,"it was time" how we love our pets~~
