Milkbone
So many times I've tried
to get the message through
But you never seem to get it
no matter what I say or do
How hard is it really,
to completely set her straight?
I guess that leash hooked to your collar
makes it hard to concentrate
Just roll over, sit and beg
to me it's all the same
I'm tired of being second-fiddle
and playing your ex's game
Let me go back in time
and refresh your memory
For you've obviously forgotten
all the things you said to me
Upon the day of my return
from the first time I had gone
You promised to always put me first
and for each other we'd live on
Well, here we are months later
things once again a mess
One thing hits and then another,
so much for happiness!
You tell me you're no coward
and her, you'll never fear
But, that tail tucked between your legs
proves my point all too clear
One last thing before I go
as I won't be back again
Here's a Milkbone just for you
for the good boy, to her, you've been
