Mike's Last Valentine's Day As a Single Man

This is my last Valentine’s Day as a single man. To this cute plump brunette, I have become her best fan. There is something in this sweet doll too few guys have seen. I have no worries since my life has become serene. She will love me with all the utmost sincerity. What a wonderful woman whose name is Stephanie. Since I have known her, other girls simply don’t exist. She is just right for me, and number one on my list. Stephanie and I cannot wait for our wedding day. That glorious time will take place the first Saturday in the warm and beautiful springtime month known as May. The ring on her finger tells me it’s not far away. This fine woman is caring, compassionate, and honest. Whenever I am with her, I put my mind to rest. She makes genuine love to me as no woman can. Knowing she will be with me makes me a happy man. So what can I do on this day for my Stephanie? Buy her flowers, candy, perfume, or some jewelry? Should I take her out to dinner, and then to a movie? I can’t decide, so I’ll give her all of the above. Nothing is too good for this fine woman that I love.

Robert, I'm so pleased you chose to give Stephanie "all of the above." When you're truly in love, I think there's no better way to express it than with thoughtfulness and gifts on Valentine's Day. Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! Love, Carolyn

Robert, interesting you mentioned my poem "Antique Chair" reminded you of President Kennedy's Rocker.....that was exactly what I was referring to.....my Mom has a copy of that rocker in her small apt. she lives in....Dad had it made for him 'round 1971....he's been gone 5-yrs. now....I miss him terribly.....this poem is lovely....God Bless you, Robert....jimbo
