Mike Willis

Most guys have a Dream Girl, they conjure in their mind. They’re always much more perfect, than a real one they might find! But my friend Mike, was different. He told this tale to me. His was not a Dream Girl, she was real as she could be! But, Michael, wasn't quick enough, I guess its just his fate. He couldn’t build his Dream Girl, he was twenty years too late! The good Lord beat him to it, what else is there to say! He built one like Mike wanted, then threw the mold away! Mike wished that he’d been quicker. I tell you it’s a shame! He knew he’d met his Dream Girl, Jenny was her name! Her hair was black as charcoal, her eyes were dark and bright. Her smile it went from ear-to-ear, everything he felt was right. A terrific sense of humor, with lots of charm and wit. A bundle full of womanhood, and looks that wouldn’t quit! A wonderful co-worker, on whom he could depend. If he ever needed anything, she was, his new best friend! But, the fact is, she was taken, turns out, she was engaged! There was nothing poor ole’ Mike could do, he felt he’d been upstaged! So Mike was at a loss, his Dream Girl had been taken. He decided to keep looking, so his quest, won’t be forsaken. I encouraged Mike to carry on, to keep an open mind! Somewhere in this crazy world, was a Dream Girl, he would find! Well that was many years ago, but please don’t shed no tears, cause Mike did meet his Dream Girl, and they’ve been married thirty years!
