Midnight Romance
charcoal was the night
the ground I waited on was an absinthe sheet
crimson was the bonfire light
cloudy smoke got directed to the street
dressed in long ashes of rose gown she came
so mesmerizing were her cerulean eyes
her ivory skin was on a thin frame
I hoped she would give in to my friendly tries
the slit in the gown showed porcelain stocking
the obsidian stilettoes she wore were awesome
her presence sent my mind rocking
I kept staring like a dumb
I directed her to a sable dance floor
to be near her that was the door.
