Mid-October Scene

The meadow wears the ornate crown of tinted topaz dew, as dainty dawn glistens with mid-October chalcedony glow. Lining the sun-splashed scarlet garden pathway paved anew, dry trunks of the sepia trees standing on the carpet yellow, hear in the rustle of falling golden leaves winter’s footfall slow.
