Mexican Waves

The waves crash and I feel lost you might not see a connection but somehow, there it is. In a world so wide and full I don’t imagine how I, insignificant as I am, matter all that much. Though I may be the center of my universe as the ocean takes its daily route from one shore to the other, I feel amazingly small and lost in a world that will keep on turning no matter what I do or how long I stay and after I’m gone lives will be affected but nothing will change for I am really of no consequence to life. I am alone. Life is nothing but a perpetual state of loneliness. Even within the circle of your arms there are times when I feel that signature chill creep over me. And even in this Mexican heat I feel cold utterly alone in the world as everyone always truly is.
