Metaphysically Mystified By You
YOU
Are the wild fire, the candy in a kiss,
Open windows of eyes
Devouring a blue liquid sky
Heart in rhythm with Eternity
And every breath like cool smoke in a dark morning translucent
As a ghost remembering its delicious yesterdays
&
I'm
Questioning if that Angel in my life
Is just as ferociously brilliant as
Those who never wake to something less than
Deep peace and velvet surrounding their lingering
Embracement of God,
Or If
The fuzzy truth just blinds me in my joy.
