Metaphorically Speaking

I am the god of my world I am the devil to fend off I set myself on the right path I lead myself astray— I cheat, I trick, I lie, I mislead I am the path to my salvation… I am the lord of my fate. I am the fragrant flower I am the thorn on my side, On the long arduous road I am the weary wayfarer and I, the destination. I wander pell-mell; myself I seek, I am the problem, I the solution. I am the knight of the night I am the sovereign sun, I rise, I set; Every stream begins its journey from within me and coalesces in me... I am the universe onto myself. ~Contest: Our Innate Magnetism ~Sponsor: Unseeking Seeker.
