Met the New Art Substitute Teacher

We had a new art sub yesterday. No surprise. We have had nineteen art subs since March. It is the last week of school. Mr. G the new art sub was positive. Energetic. Glad to be here. Told me he would finish out the week. That was yesterday at 9:00. Today at 9:10 I met Ms. Berkins. A newer new art sub. I welcomed her, and she said, “I hope they’ll be subdued.” This is Wednesday The most challenging day for art class. The day the 6th graders whistle, stamp, stomp, chant and sing. Rocking the art room off its rocker. I said to the other person who sometimes subs in art what she said. We laughed like loons all the way down the hall. I am pretty sure there will be a newer new art sub tomorrow.
