Merry Christmas, Mr Scrooge

He scoffs at our joyful noise The good spirits we invoke, As he passes by with grim poise Thinking this holiday is a joke Still, we make the time brighter We go about in a cheery stance, Making lives a little lighter While the years give us a chance We sing a carol of Christmas With wassail in our mug, For you cannot stop us You dear, olde humbug We shall wish a Happy Holiday To every miser, bum and stooge, So, with all our might we say Merry Christmas, Mr. Scrooge! A story for the ages, and In truth a good reflection of a society's Malign influence creating the character the Truly sobering aspect is, the existence many In the fishbowl of europe lived is creeping to Our countries as the internet allows.' Not a Happy situation I am against it.'

Thank you for reading, Joe... There is much to gain from old Scrooge's story... Funny, how many people there are who still need to learn those lessons...

Kelly, congratulations on your win. Truly we have a golden opportunity at Christmas to send out Christmas blessings to all we encounter - even Scrooge even when it seemed he didn't have a "ghost" of a chance to experience the true joy of Christmas! This is a delightful homage to one of my favorite Christmas stories. Sending you blessings of joy!

"a squeezing, wrenching, grasping, scraping, clutching, covetous, old sinner! Hard and sharp as flint... secret, and self-contained, and solitary as an oyster." - as Charles Dickens describes Scrooge. Congratulations!

Not many people say "Merry Christmas, Mr. Scrooge" the world would be a better place if more of us did. Oh and IMHO everyone has a Mr Scrooge somewhere in their lives.
