Merciless Time

Listen I tell you As time goes by, The songbirds tune Becomes a melancholy cry. Watch as the skin Becomes wrinkled and worn, For the fabric of time Can never be torn. Feel the memories Fade away, The sunny blue skies Become a cloudy grey. Time, precious time, Is all that I need, Oh time, why must you fly At such a speed?
