Mending Heart

I changed all of the locks as soon as you slammed the door Knowing that my heart couldn't take it no more You said you were different You said you wasn't the same But when you told me " I love you" I knew that it was just a game You broke my heart Only for it to grow back stronger I'm not soaking in my ponder any longer Being without you has made me realize That I am stronger without being told lies Now I stand with my head held high With still a wall around me and you know why
