Memory Supreme

Could it be there is a sacred place Where the lives of humans live on— Portrayals of every mortal face Alive in memory faithfully drawn? If we are to be judged by One above, A record must have been made. Will it show we knew how to love Or will it project a darker shade? Deity must have a memory supreme Of every human who mortality knew. If that seems a notion wholly extreme, Recall there is nothing God cannot do.

G'day Paul... you have written a poem that gives the reader a reason to question on maybe where their belief lies. Well done again - Lindsay

The maintenance of faith requires (seems to me) what I call a "suspension of disbelief." So, Lindsay, you are being your ever-perceptive self in your reading of the poem. I appreciate your comment; it's insightful.

A deeply introspective write, Paul. Just right, not judgmental, but makes the reader reflect. A 7. :) Kim

Kim, I was within seconds of deleting this, thinking it too Sunday School-ish. Your timely and kind comment made me change my mind. Thank you ever-so-much for your words of encouragement.
