Memory Supreme
Could it be there is a sacred place
Where the lives of humans live on—
Portrayals of every mortal face
Alive in memory faithfully drawn?
If we are to be judged by One above,
A record must have been made.
Will it show we knew how to love
Or will it project a darker shade?
Deity must have a memory supreme
Of every human who mortality knew.
If that seems a notion wholly extreme,
Recall there is nothing God cannot do.
