Memory of Ages

Long ago in a distant land not near the sea I knew a girl, as sweet as a “sweet” can be She was this extraordinary girl within the ordinary place Every single full moon day the moon reminds me of her face We had a lot of fun and some were quite reverse But every single thing was worth billions of years to preserve Now she has gone, flown away across the sea Leaving all the memories and most importantly me But still we do talk sometimes, once in a blue moon And that’s when she promises me, I’ll see you very soon All I can do is smile my heart and wait Just thinking if I was to meet here, wouldn’t that be great?
