Memory

Has anyone seen my memory I can’t think where it’s gone. I know I had it with me, now where did I come from? What was it that I’ve lost now, I think that I’ve forgot. It couldn’t be important I lose it quite a lot. Oh, now I can remember, I thought that I’d forgot. It’s my memory that is lacking it won’t retain a lot. It used to be quite healthy when I was in my prime, I never thought that it may leave in some near distant time. Now I make notes to help me so that I remember all, it’s just where I put these ‘aid memoirs’ that I cannot recall. So if you find my memory my problem you’ll redress, please send it to my residence, now.... what was my address? Ivor G Davies

The problem I have sometimes is reading one of my own poems and trying to remember who wrote it! Luckily I normally sign them immediately but have deleted a couple simply because I couldn't be certain!
