Memory

My first memory was of you, Your arms around around me, I could not see your face, Or feel your breath close to me, But I saw your arms wrapped around my waist, As if, the thought of me falling made you scared. And that was it - but I felt love. And then my memory started moving, Not just in one way but in two. And I felt your breath and heard your voice, And watched us dance around the room. I saw the way your eyes, Cold as steel, blue as the light on ice, Changed and slowly let down their walls. I watched your lips move, I felt the tenseness leave your body as you relaxed You laid in my arms, I brushed your hair with my fingertips
