Memories of the Sea

Memories of the sea Waiting for the waves to touch me, stood at sea shore facing cool breeze, Watched the setting sun laugh at me, and the sea seemed to accept my plea, Giant waves swirled me within their sheet, as the sand slipped fast under my feet, Inhaled waters, engulfed next moment, Floated calm, emerged along crescent, Lied next to the snails and molluscs, pearls shed off from mouth of shells, Recalled the long days through which we played, till last rays of sun that with us stayed, Those castles in sand we used to build, Innocent tears washed all the guilt, Sweet memories of the sea are still alive, Thrive for golden moments with soulful five!
