Memories Beyond Time

Memories beyond time Once embracing my tender wrists, now tired watches lay dropped on woods, Waking me up with first ray of sun, asleep with set, only to find years and decades pass by, Constant Memories that keep me introspecting, as I see the twilight appear and wither, Proving Einstein's theory of relativity, while people are lost in materialism, I am being spendthrift with words so sublime, anticipate they live even after the concluding day, On every timeline hangs a malignant memory, to create history and for moving on and on !! Written Jan 20th, 2015 For contest "Ekphrasis" by Rick parise Inspired by painting "The persistence of memory" by Salvador Dali Awarded 6th place

This is a very interesting take on memories, Upma, and I am impressed by your reasoning. I am curious to see this painting by Dali, although I have already formed my own picture of it in my mind. #7 gl in contest. // paul
