Memo Part Iv

Dear John, No. I can't elope with you. Because I'm promised to another. A lady always keeps her word and promises to her lover. And as I trust my lover my lover trust me; to meet at the altar and neither one to flee. What if it were to me this misfortune to be. Some strange woman writing letters begging him forsake me. But the gentleman has given his word and I worry not. Send me no more letters. If you do I'll send you there ashes. Just remember what we've had and not what we've not. Sincerely, Julia (to be continued)
