Melody
Here for time brief with strange fancy,
Seize cheer and grief and live plenty.
Watch how time hurls change that comes quick,
Here in this world a flashing streak.
Watch moments breeze in rapid run,
In a brisk squeeze the final pun.
Watch the parade boom straight in dance,
Each a charade of fleeting chance.
Here and now see the prospects grim,
What's yet to be sparks and then dims.
Soon curtain call will take all back,
Bear the sweet gall that cuts some slack.
Love is the way to live pure joy,
Let stillness stay through play and ploy.
