Melodious Quest

Couched on a cloud of immortal unrest, Harmonies ring in the light of the moon, None too diluted and none born too soon: All in a lively, melodious quest. Plumed by bright meteors burning on high, Hither it calls me and weltering waves Whisper my name while faint starlight engraves Dreams of despair in the billowing sky. Freed from the darkness of wearisome truth, Wildly I sail on an ocean of ghosts, Wide though remote from the cavern which hosts Earthlings inclined to the dire and uncouth. Calm is the night and remote is the call Voiced by the seagulls imprisoned ashore. Soothed by your kisses, I covet once more Endless repose and within you I fall.
