M - Morose and sad I rose this early morn...
E - Eventually, the pounding of cold rain
L - Left me to feel alone and so forlorn
A - And know this dreary day would cause me pain.
N - Now you have left me this first week of Fall...
C - Canceled our dates, like picnicking 'neath trees;
H - Hastened to close the pool and waterfall.
O - Oh, melancholy me...please summer, please...
L - Lift up my spirits just for one more day!
Y - You left me cold with Fall and went away.
