Meet Me In My Pain

Meet me in the darkness, tilting my moody chin t'ward the light of your love. Coax these withering lips, tender, taunting kisses loving smile so cherished. Meet me in my pain hold my hand and walk me home to the comfort of our bed. For one day soon my eyes will sparkle with joyous love, My heart nourished by loving care. Meet me in the darkness Steady this wounded soul your warmth my heart's haven One heart, one flame Wholly given to the other.
