Meditation Delight
It is such a wondrous delight
to meditate Book* of truth’s height
bringing her toward heaven’s flight
by fervent faith’s clearest sight
while boredom she fights in waiting for Mr. Right.
Enjoying beauty of nature so great
she is exposed to virtuous trait
with Bible records never late
while praying for special mate
based on God’s will, not simply by fate.
Pondering about life’s best
her soul seeks for guidance zest
directions, surely safest
in passing challenges’ test
begging for wisdom toward triumph crest.
Acknowledging her choosy nature
her heart clings to divine light’s feature
as Scriptures* for trust-venture
express the Lord's gesture...
to grant her request of trust-posture.
