It's best follow the golden rule But we should try not be cruel But should we turn the other cheek Or should it be vengeance that we seek Perhaps it's best to forgive And not be imprisoned by our sins But have we calculated the price of bail or is that task too daunting Cause we have been weighed upon heavenly scales And we have been found wanting

Dear Joseph, This is so true. I do believe the last two lines give us that "wow" moment we sometimes find in poems. You should do well in Dr. Ram's contest with this entry. I've been struggling with an approach to this topic, but you nailed it! Love, Carolyn
