Meaning of a Rose

A rose is given by a person, Who knows they’re in the wrong. A rose is given by a man, To further things along. It seems the true meaning of it’s purpose, Has faded over time. And I am here to tell you, That’s why I pen this rhyme. The Rose is a symbol of true love, A simple, unspoken bond. Yet many of us tend to see, A relationship magic wand. So if you’ve read this once or twice, And still can’t understand. You must have never had your heart, In the palm of someone’s hand. But do not fret, all is not lost. Because you will someday meet, The only person that you feel, Could make your life complete. And when you wish to be near them, In every waking hour. You will finally comprehend, The true meaning of this flower.
