Maypole

Painted sky cascades down to touch a green velour carpet. Green Man asks for a dance and an elated crowd engages the maypole. As young leaves stretch tips to grasp sunlight newly birthed buds yawn. Gaia beams with pride; another birthday for her children brings boundless joy.
