You're supposed to be there

You actually do care
Maybe, just maybe,
I'm going insane
Maybe, just maybe,
This is all some kind of game
Maybe, just maybe,
The lie isn't what I thought it was
Maybe, just maybe,
I imagined it all
Maybe, just maybe,
This afternoon, you will call
Maybe, just maybe,
You will tell the truth
Maybe, just maybe,
My heart will heal
Maybe, just maybe,
Or maybe it won't
